my skin care / makeup routine actually contains much more, but these are some new products that i've been using & am really excited about.
RIMMEL scandaleyes in witness white - this thick creamy eyeshadow stick is perfect on my waterline to make my eyes look a little bigger. i've been feeling really girly by pairing this with just a small black eyeliner line underneath it.
FRESH soy moisturizing cream - it's nice, light, keeps my skin looking bright throughout the day & contains the ever-so important SPF. i like this moisturizer, but i wouldn't recommend running out & buying it, because it's hella pricey & you can probably find a decent moisturizer at target. (it was fun to be indulgent with my tax return & buy a High End moisturizer.)
MAYBELLINE dream fresh bb cream - reviewed here! i am still on the same tube, i LOVE THIS STUFF! it helps even out my skin tone - which says a lot because i have some pretty gnarly brown spots from greasy ass high school days. 100% recommend.
ELF shimmering facial whip in lilac petal - this lil tube was $1 at target & it is effectively helping me reach my dewy skinned Priscilla At The Wedding goals. i'm still experimenting with where i should wear this & how (below my eyes? under my concealer? WHAT ARE YOU?!) - but so far, i don't think i've made any mistakes.
ARDELL brow sculpting gel - now HERE is a product that has definitely been missing from my makeup bag. i needed something to keep my brow hairs in place before i fill them in & this cheap little ebay find does the trick remarkably well.
BENEFIT they're real! mascara - a $25 tube of mascara sucks to buy, but the results are really worth it. i really like a lot of dark makeup around my eyes & for me, the longer the lashes, the better. however, i'm trying not to wear falsies as much because i'm lazy & i feel like this mascara compensates enough for me to avoid that extra step.
L'OREAL lash serum - again, to help my lashes stand out more... this lil lady is meant to be applied both before bed & under mascara in order to promote growth. i definitely like the idea, i just can't tell if my lashes are actually longer, or if they just look that way because they have gunk on 'em! only time will tell.
